Worldwide Wedding Success!!

Now then, I'm not normally one for blowing my own trumpet - but here goes...
I was very pleased to be featured in the Top 5 in a recent online wedding photography competition. The site, dpreview.com, is a worldwide success story and attracts thousands of photographers from all over the world. Their competitions are very well regarded, with some seriously good photography on show.
Their recent "Weddings" competition attracted 154 entries from around the globe and after over 4000 votes were cast, my image "Goodnight Kiss" ended up in 5th place overall. Needless to say, I was quite chuffed!!
The picture of Michelle and Brian was taken in the Tontine Hotel, Greenock, looking down their beautiful Georgian stairway from the third floor.
So does this prove I'm some fantastic wedding photographer? - yes and no! - but it does prove that we're always trying to push the envelope to produce the "unique and beautiful" photography we promote!
More importantly, what it does do for me is tell me that my style appeals to people with an eye for a good image - and that'll do for me...
